The Application Rating: where 35 percent and 15 percent quietly live

Practical translation: a non-engineer with a 99.0 CAT and an 8.7 bachelor's CGPA generally clears stage one more easily than an engineer with the same numbers. Two things are different the second time. Your Application Rating is unchanged unless you finished a higher degree, a major certification, or a substantive job change.
