Gurugram · Our Home, Our HQ, Our 13-Year Base
Pegasus Global Consultants has worked from MPD Tower on Golf Course Road, Sector 43, for 13 years. Gurugram is where the firm was founded and where most of our senior team still works. We have watched the city\'s applicant profile evolve from primarily Delhi University commerce graduates in the early 2010s to today\'s mix of McKinsey and BCG consultants, Fractal and EXL analytics professionals, and corporate strategy leads at India MNC headquarters.
Office visits by appointment. Most client work happens remotely, but the first evaluation can be in person if you prefer.
Book a profile evaluation →Gurugram has one of the densest consulting and analytics corridors in Asia. Cyber City alone houses BCG, Bain, Kearney, EY Parthenon, Strategy&, Deloitte S&A, PwC Advisory, and Accenture Strategy. A 10-minute drive away, you have Fractal, Mu Sigma, EXL, WNS, Genpact, and the analytics practices of nearly every global MNC. This density creates a very specific applicant profile: early-career professionals with strong frameworks, solid case experience, and structured thinking trained on Fortune 500 problems.
That training is a double-edged sword at admissions. Consulting applicants tend to write essays that read like case summaries: structured, logical, dispassionate. Admissions committees want structure and logic, but they also want heat. A Gurugram consultant whose SoP reads like a cleanly formatted set of bullets will get past the first screen but struggle in the interview. Our work with Gurugram applicants spends extra time on the non-consulting parts of the narrative: who are you when you are not in the client room.
For analytics and corporate strategy applicants, the positioning question is different. You have usually delivered significant business impact but you are not in a prestigious brand like McKinsey. The essay has to translate your work into the language adcoms recognise without sounding defensive about where you sit in the consulting hierarchy. That translation is learnable. We do it with every Fractal, EXL, and Genpact applicant we take on.

Yes. Our office is at MPD Tower, Golf Course Road, Sector 43, Gurugram, Haryana 122002. We hold in-person consultations by appointment for applicants based in Delhi NCR. Most of our client work happens remotely via video and shared docs even for Gurugram applicants, because the actual SoP and essay work benefits from async thinking time. But the first profile evaluation can absolutely happen in person if you want to meet the team.
Our Delhi NCR client base is diverse. For engineering: IIT Delhi, NSIT, DTU, Jamia Millia, Manav Rachna. For commerce and business: SRCC, Hindu College, St Stephen's, LSR, Hansraj, and the Delhi University Economics Honours network. For finance and consulting: applicants currently working at McKinsey Gurugram, BCG, Bain, Kearney, EY Parthenon, Accenture Strategy, and the Big Four advisory practices based in Cyber City.
Marginally yes, for two reasons. First, scheduling is easier because we share a timezone (though this applies to any India-based consultant). Second, in-person meetings for the harder conversations (career pivots, family decisions around moving abroad, scholarship negotiations) work better than video. That said, the quality of the SoP work and the final admit outcome does not depend on physical proximity. Our Bengaluru and Chennai clients do as well as our Gurugram clients.
Consulting and strategy dominate. McKinsey Gurugram, BCG Gurugram, Bain, Kearney, Strategy&, Deloitte S&A, EY Parthenon, and the Big Four hire heavily from Delhi NCR and send strong MBA candidates each cycle. Analytics firms (Fractal, Mu Sigma, EXL, Genpact) are a second major pool. Corporate strategy at MNC India HQs (Google, Microsoft, Meta India, Airtel, Hero MotoCorp) rounds out the top segments.
Gurugram is more consulting and analytics heavy. Central Delhi and South Delhi have a stronger policy, government, think tank, and journalism applicant base. Gurugram applicants tend to target US top 10 MBAs, LBS, INSEAD, HEC. Delhi policy applicants often target HKS, MPA-ID, or Schwarzman Scholars programmes. The positioning work differs accordingly.
